Wednesday Smednesday

Today is hump day! We are half way through the work week and I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to get SUPER vegetable on Sunday. (Vegetable=not move an inch off my couch) Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening I will be executing promotions for Three Olives Vodka with a few of my lovely coworkers. I’m excited to be with the select few girls I’ll be with this weekend on account of our upcoming lay off. This weekend may very well be my last weekend executing promotions for a period of time, and let me tell you, I’m ready for a breather.
The last time I updated this bad boy, I was catching up on some beer pong with some good friends, kicking in my new single status. The recent break up has left me feeling rejuvenated and empowered. Under the circumstances, I have been able to see what I liked and disliked most about my past relationship helping prevent making those mistakes in the future. The thing that hurts the most is that I loved being in love-I was a bad ass girlfriend. I feel like I was ripped off, like I had a feeling stolen from me that I didn’t deserve to be deprived from. Now, my sights are set on finding someone that fits perfectly within the quirky puzzle pieces of my life, and is willing to kick it with me and Daisy while I pole jam and paint for the rest of my days. I will keep you posted on my progress, wish me luck…
Lately I’ve been working, dancing, working, cooking, drinking. In that order, almost every day. Minus the alcohol every day. Thanksgiving has come and gone, and throughout this holiday season I have chosen to devote my time to Three Olives promotions and cocktails with my girlfriends. I’ve made a couple trips to Baja in Grapevine with my Pamburger love, but that’s a given. Also, my group at Exeter had a flag football game against our rival group, credit review. Risk won 14-0 baby, that’s what I’m talkin’ about! Last year, they creamed us. This year, we retaliated. I even got my hair did by Brianna, my lovely Italian stallion. We did our usual hair-do routine, which is totally none of your concern J Don’t you worry ‘bout it. But, check out how great my head looks! I was in love with Brianna’s moms new hair salon and the art work she has acquired for it. One painting was a small canvas, maybe 5x7, that read ‘Bangs are a poor girls Botox’, love it. Another great piece is a large flower that takes up a huge space between a window and the salon ceiling. However the most notable and sentimental piece in the entire suite is Beverly’s mirror. She created it from scratch, making a collage of miscellaneous items and photos she’s collected throughout her career. She had saved up items for quite some time before she considered creating her spectacular mirror. It’s really something you’ve just got to see for yourself!
Another awesome thing I’ve been up to lately is performing at The Girls Room’s Winter Showcase-I had so much fun! My performance was to Bon Jovi ‘Please Come home For Christmas’ –a slow yet catchy Christmas song. Yeah, that’s right, I pole danced to a Christmas jingle. What? Didn’t think it could be done? Neither did I… I was terrified at the thought of choreographing a routine to a Christ related tune, so I didn’t. I just free styled it J Hehe. THANK YOU, FREESTYLE FRIDAY! You saved me, truly.
