Two Buck Chuck Success

Recently I hosted a party for Pam to get an aquired taste for some possible wines for her upcoming wedding in May. We heard about the amazing Two Buck Chuck wine special at Trader Joes, so I was set on making a trip to one of the locations.
Out of all the Trader Joe locations, I chose Plano. Now, maybe that wasn't the smartest decision I made all day, but it had to be done. Don't get me wrong, Plano is a beautiful town. However, lots of beautiful families live in Plano. Meaning, lots of children live in Plano. Meaning, i'm pulling out my damn hair. So, as i'm dodging todlers and infants in baskets, I head straight for the wine section (which I SO badly wished there were samples available to take the edge off. I'm kidding, but it was pretty brutal). I grabbed two of each selection of wines, along with some fruit, cheese and chocolate to munch on. i made it home in just enough time to jazz up the apartment (as much as it possibly can be jazzed I suppose) and pick up Pam in Dallas. Her car broke down unfortunately, leaving me to go scoop her up at a snazzy restaraunt off Preston and the tollway. I picked up the precious Pamburger and hauled towards my place just in time to greet Brianna, Lauren and Krissy!

Lauren and Krissy weren't drinking, WOMP WOMP.  You know what that means... More wine for Brianna Pam and I! It was nice to just sit in a circle with snacks and wine, complaining one by one about whatever shit in our lives we had going on at that moment. Got to love it.

Pam & Bubba!
Also, we had bubba to love on. He's just so adorable, I had to invite him! And by invite him, I totally mean steal him from my boyfriend, Matt. Bubba definitely stole some hearts at the party! Everyone must have taken a million pictures of this little love nugget. I mean, look at him, can you blame us? :)

Anyways, he's precious as hell and had to partake in the party.
About 3 wine bottles in, my little brother Kaleb and 2 of his friends suggested they set up their beer pong table, so we didn't fight them. We had a couple rounds of shots of Three Olives Vodka Loopy flavor mixed with Simple Time Lemonade

Three Olives LOOPY shots!
I played a game or two (drinking wine, not beer, what a gross combination..) we watched some stand up comedy and then crashed late. Fun night!

The next morning, Pam and I slept in and went to go try on her wedding dress. The gown is simply beautiful. I can't get too carried away with the details, but it's classic 20's style beauty totally suits Pam and will look stunning on her wedding day, May 26th 2012.
I even took it upon myself to try on a little somethin' somethin'. Just a vail! A picture that I sent to Matt, just to freak him out a little :) Ha!

Want to see a picture of Pams dress?
Okay...
Here goes...

Pam's dress, revealed!
Juuuuust kidding. I know, i'm lame. But I can't actually post a picture like that! That's totally against the rules. More goodness on Pams wedding to come later :)
 Thanks for reading y'all!
