Weight loss journey

I must admit, in this “journey” of mine, I’m not really applying myself to my full potential. What I mean by that is, I am still having the occasional glass of wine (occasional meaning last night), a tablespoon of sugar in most of my coffee cups (not all), and I’m not tracking my workouts and meals. After all, the whole reason why I started this thing was to become more aware of my habits! And also to bitch my face off..

I’ve come to the conclusion that pole fitness is terrific, but just not helping me reach my fitness goals. I need something that’s going to make me sweat, burn, and ache, hallelujah! The best shape I’ve ever been in was definitely when I was a member at 24 hour fitness doing group classes like Turbo Kickboxing and Body Pump. Pole fitness is a great combination of rhythm, flexibility, endurance and strength while also teaching you to be ladylike and sexy in your regiment. I love dancing, and when I discovered this awesome combo of a workout, I bought a living social coupon and indulged. I quickly became and member, and here I am today, about 20 pounds heavier than I could and SHOULD be. Where did I go wrong? I eat fresh clean and organic about 90% of my day, most of the week. The only thing to blame is inadequate workouts!

It’s going to take some hard work and sweat to get me where I need to be. Dammit, just when I thought I had the ‘skinny’ thing down, too! Turns out you can’t eat a lot and not do cardio and still maintain a size 2 waist line.
