Pamela & Tyler: On the Prowl for the Perfect Aisle

When you think "Wedding", you usually picture the color white, breath taking gowns, diamonds, kissing and cake. But does anyone ever think about how that gown was decided upon? Or how the cake made it from point A to point B (point B being, your mouth)? Luckily, these two examples are two of the lighter tasks involved with customizing your perfect wedding.

There is a reason why most people don't run off and get hitched. (AKA Elope!) And it's usually because they want to share this memorable day with their loved ones. In this life, we are blessed with many things. And one of them is Love. Love is something that drives people absolutely CRAZY! It keeps you up hours into the night, fantasizing about the dialogue you'll have with that one person soon, and wondering how soon that next kiss will come... So it's easy to understand why two people, after their crazy journey through the obstacle course of love and life, would want to showcase this oh so precious moment. TEAR! Seriously, kind of want to cry.

With all the love and romance in the air, there also comes business. Ah yes, business. A necessary evil. A lot comes with asking that four letter question (will you marry me, duh!) that most do not take into consideration. After the ring has been unveiled and the tears have dried, the next thing in that woman's mind is "What colors? What DRESS! Oh where should we have it?!" and men, you best be ready.

A peek into the life of a bride to be...

As we hunt, Pam asks questions I would have never thought to ask.
You can tell that she knows what she wants at this time in her life, because she's been putting together this day since she even knew what love was and that it existed.

The first venue was truly gorgeous. A smaller suite in a cozy shopping center in the heart of Plano, near pubs and bakery's and a delicious little pizza restaurant that was absolutely unavoidable.

Yes, we stopped for pizza of course!

Okay, maybe we stopped for a Bellini, too... Don't judge us! You'd need one too after hunting for places to host your wedding! Let me tell you, being in the wedding party can make you work up a thirst! {;-)}

After everything was said and done that evening, we thought we totally had the location nailed down. So after one butchered venue tour, a couple drinks and some pizza, I began planning the bachelorette party. Shout out to Pinterest, got to love it. But in the midst of my party planning fiasco, Lauren (bridesmaid in the photos above) discovered Another hidden gem deep in Dallas, where Pam could be wed with the beautiful skyline behind her.

We didn't take it into much consideration after falling in love with Event 1013, but thought it wouldn't hurt to broaden the venue horizon. So Saturday morning we drove out to Lofty Spaces (catchy, huh) and waited in the parking lot. The owner of the place had not returned Pam's calls, leading us all to believe it was a wasted trip.

It was raining and cold, we were sure the people gave up on us. Luckily, a man with little to no wedding knowledge pulled up in his blue corvette and proceeded to give us a tour. We didn't need his input or knowledge (or, lack thereof) of the location, just a simple look see at what could be Pam's Aisle. When you have creativity seeping out your brain eyes and ears, you don't need much direction.

Bridal Lounge, NO BOYS ALLOWED!

Which venue, you ask? Stay posted, we will have that answer soon. We are thinking the Dallas location, simply because it's more reasonably priced (remember, business, we talked about that...) AND we could play beer pong on the gorgeous outside patio! What's that saying, you can take the girl out the country but you can't take the country of out of the girl, right? Riiiight.
